Dijana Engelmann’s practice situates sculpture within an expanded field of installation, performance
and site-specific intervention, where material processes and spatial conditions become inseparable.
Central to her work is the use of locally sourced clay as both medium and index of place, through
which she explores transformation, instability, and the shifting relationships between body, environment,
and territory. Her practice engages transitional spaces as critical zones for negotiating ecological fragility,
displacement and contemporary forms of spatial and social belonging.
Eco-material / site-responsive / process-based practice.
